This photograph of the Virginia War Memorial Carillon was taken in 2020, while I was shooting around Richmond. I added the pink coloration to match the other Richmond works in the series. The Carillon is a musical instrument and a memorial to World War I heroes lost in "The Great War" with 53 bronze bells. It's a monument visible for miles around the city and sits in Willian Byrd Park —a favorite of citizens and visitors alike.
