Original Painting • Searching for Peace I
Searching for Peace is a personal expression of my feelings during the summer of 2025. I felt frustrated by the state of affairs, both personally and in the US as a whole. The stormy seas lashing at small birds became a metaphor for my weariness in dealing with the news and life in general. I knew I wasn’t alone, and that we all search for peace in our own way, no matter what life throws at us.
These paintings were exhibited at Second Street Gallery in Charlottesville, VA, as part of their Teeny Tiny Trifecta fundraiser in 2025.
Acrylic on panel.
