My Shapeshifter series was created by first making 20 small square collages. I started by cutting out different shapes using black paper. I then applied a gold metal leaf to them.
I then arranged them, using four at a time, to create 5 different pieces. I love the clean lines and the Mid-Century Modern vibe these bring. The gold metal leaf on black elevates the clean but moody look.
They have been custom-framed with a low-reflective glass to enhance the eye-catching quality.
